When whole world is fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing our part in that fight for survival, as well.
Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students' Home took an initiative to start Relief Work from 31st of March 2020, paying full respect and obedience to the terms and conditions of the ongoing Lockdown. By maintaining the required distance for everyone's safety, we are providing essentials ( Rice, Pulses, Flour, Sugar, Oil, Potato, Onion, Biscuits and Soap ),with the help of Belur Math, to the people in need.
- Relief Work at Prantik Nagar, near Agarpara Railway Station:
1020 kg Rice, 204 kg Pulses, 204 kg Flour, 204 kg Sugar, 204 Litre oil, 1020 kg Potato, 408 kg Onion, 204 Packets Biscuits, 204 pieces Soap were distributed among 938 members of 204 families on 31st March 2020. - Relief Work at Prabartak Jute Mill, Kamarhati:
300 kg Rice, 60 kg Pulses, 60 kg Flour, 60 kg Sugar, 60 Litre oil, 300 kg Potato, 120 kg Onion, 60 Packets Biscuits, 60 pieces Soap were distributed among 247 members of 60 families on 3rd April 2020. - Relief Work from our Campus Premises to GAP Students:
520 kg Rice, 104 kg Pulses, 104 kg Flour, 104 kg Sugar, 104 Litre oil, 520 kg Potato, 208 kg Onion, 104 Packets Biscuits, 104 pieces Soap were distributed among 477 members of 104 families on 4th April 2020. - Relief Work at Israyel Colony, Agarpara Jute Mill Gate no 3:
910 kg Rice, 182 kg Pulses, 182 kg Flour, 182 kg Sugar, 182 Litre oil, 910 kg Potato, 182 kg Onion, 182 Packets Biscuits, 182 pieces Soap were distributed among 983 members of 182 families on 6th and 7th April 2020. - Relief Work at Kathgola, Agarpara:
465 kg Rice, 93 kg Pulses, 93 kg Flour, 93 kg Sugar, 93 Litre oil, 465 kg Potato, 93 kg Onion, 93 Packets Biscuits, 186 pieces Soap were distributed among 384 members of 93 families on 8th April 2020. - Relief Work at Noyapara Metro Station Area:
665 kg Rice, 133 kg Pulses, 133 kg Flour, 133 kg Sugar, 133 Litre oil, 665 kg Potato, 133 kg Onion, 133 Packets Biscuits, 266 pieces Soap were distributed among 586 members of 133 families on 9th April 2020. - Food materials distribution from our Ashrama Premises to the needy families of Promad Nagar and Belgharia:
1830 kg Rice, 366 kg Pulses, 366 kg Flour, 366 kg Sugar, 366 Litre oil, 1830 kg Potato, 366 kg Onion, 366 Packets Biscuits, 732 pieces Soap were distributed among 1484 members of 366 families on 10th to 11th April 2020.
