The work of the Shilpapitha is going on smoothly.
Annual Sport was celebrated on 18th January, 2017 amidst fun & frolic with ceremonial parade, bands and fireworks. Most of the students, teachers and staff members participated and enjoyed the ceremony.
Sri Sri Saraswati Puja was also celebrated on 1st February 2017. On this occasion there was a group lunch program on 7th February 2017, where the monks, teachers, staff members and students participated making the event truly enjoyable.
PadmaShree Prof. Ajoy Kumar Ray, Director, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur visited Shilpapitha on 15th February 2017 and delivered a motivational lecture to the Students, teachers and staff members of the Institution.
Hydraulics Laboratory, Microprocessor laboratory, Power System Laboratory, CNC Machining Laboratory, Environmental Engineering Laboratory, Metrology Laboratory, Hydraulic Control Laboratory and the new Laboratory for Civil Engineering Department have been renovated raising the floor by 20” to prevent water logging due to flood during the rainy season.
