Swami Vijnanananda Smriti Utsav is observed on the immediate next Sunday of the Appearance Date (Janma Tithi) of Srimat Swami Vijnananandaji in his ancestral house at 108, Feeder Road, Kolkata 700056.
It is a day-long programme with special puja and homa, reading and discourses on Rev. Maharaj’s life and teachings, devotional songs by artists, Ramnam Sankirtan, etc. The celebration culminates with a public meeting in the afternoon. A good number of ex-students and devotees attend the daylong programme. About 1500 devotees are served with cooked prasada.
