Saraswati Puja is celebrated with all joy and solemnity. Worshiping of goddess Saraswati, devotional songs and performing Hate-khari are its characteristic features. Everybody offers flowers (pushpanjali) at the feet of the Divine Mother – the Goddess of Learning seeking divine knowledge.
